FAQs

what is the NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government initiative that provides support and services to Australians with disabilities to help them lead a better quality of life. For more information, click here.

Are you a registered or an unregistered ndis provider?

Due to being a relatively small business, and because of the supports we provide, it makes the most sense for us to be unregistered providers. Check out our post with a more detailed answer here, or read this page on the NDIS website, which further explains unregistered providers obligations.

How much do your services cost?

We adhere to the NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits 2023-34 guide. The cost of our service depends on many factors including whether it is an individual session, and what the actual service is that we are providing. Click here to access the NDIS price guide!

do I need an ndis plan to access your service?

No you don’t! However, our pricing stays the same, regardless of your funding. As stated above, our pricing aligns with the NDIS price guide. Though if you have a disability, it really does help to have an NDIS plan - especially with the costs. If your child has a disability and requires support, you can check your eligibility for an NDIS plan on this website and follow the prompts from there!

what is your cancellation policy?

The NDIS cancellation policy is applied. Cancellations 48 hours before the session will be charged at full scheduled fee - unless we are able to arrange another session to fill the time slot. This applies for non-NDIS clients as well.

what is your payment policy?

We give 7 days to pay our invoices, as we know life can get busy. However after 7 days, the payment becomes overdue. You will get a reminder email stating that you have a further 48 hours to pay the invoice. After this period, if the payment is still overdue, a 10% surcharge will be added to the invoice for every week that passes.

if our plan is self-managed, what are my responsibilities?

Self-management comes with many responsibilities. Click here for more info - but here are some important ones to keep in mind when accessing our services.

  • Managing your funding so the costs of the support give you value-for-money and can be met from within your budget.

  • Claiming and paying for supports by making payment requests and paying for your supports on time.

  • Keeping invoices and receipts to show you have paid for your supports using your NDIS funding.

In summary, it is your responsibility to keep track of: how much funding your plan has left, what supports you can afford, keeping proof of payments and ensuring that payments are on-time.

How often will my child receive support sessions?

The frequency of support sessions will be determined based on your child's NDIS plan and/or individual requirements. We'll work with you and your plan managers to develop a suitable schedule.

How can your services help with schooling?

We can work with teachers to ensure your child has everything they need to participate in their learning and play. We are also able to assist with transport, activities of daily living, assistive technologies and home-work.
